Early Identification Training Center July 21, 2018

The Early Identification Training Center is designed to allow ambitious players the opportunity to train, and play, in an environment specifically designed to replicate a collegiate experience. The event is run by the University at Albany men’s soccer coaching staff, and participants will also be exposed to coaches from additional universities. The goal is to provide every player a positive experience that allows for personal development, valuable early exposure to college coaches, and enhanced preparedness for future challenges at the college level.
The Training Center will also feature a seminar for players, and parents, on the college recruitment process. The UAlbany staff, with the other college coaches, will outline the important details of player recruitment and allow for a question and answer session.
Universities that have previously attended Dane Soccer Academy events include: Hartwick, Oneonta State, Skidmore, Morrisville State, St. Rose, Potsdam, Utica, Union, RPI, and SUNY Adirondack.

CAMP PHILOSOPHY: The purpose of the Junior Danes Soccer Academy is to create an educational, fun, environment dedicated to participants of all ability levels. We work to create a curriculum that can benefit each individual player, placing them with qualified coaches who can devote specific attention to each participant. This camp will teach basic fundamentals, as well as introduce specific technical and tactical elements. The design is to foster improvement in, and enjoyment of, the sport of soccer. We believe that the game is the greatest teacher, and use a variety of small sided environments to help develop these skill sets as much as possible.

CAMP PHILOSOPHY: The Academy Training Center is designed for boys 12-14 to experience a college-level training environment. This nightly session will focus on technical, tactical, and positional training to expose players to what is required to compete at a high level. Training sessions will be held at the University at Albany conducted by different Division 1 and Division 3 college coaches each evening to provide a variety of experiences. The purpose of the Academy Training Center is to provide ambitious youth players a platform to learn, improve, and train at a high intensity.
